Crosley 163 "Travette"

Bands: AM

Tube Lineup: 78, 78, 77, 38, 12Z3

One of my favorite and seldom seen "lunchbox" radios from the Great Depression era, this Crosley 163 is a surprisingly capable superheterodyne radio encased in a stamped sheet metal case with shiny chrome face plates. Many other metal cased radios of the 1932-33 era were TRF sets.
